Attacking mounts

Just like to confirm, is it only monstrous mounts that can be attacked separately? Therefore it is not possible to target a horse separately?

Yeah pretty much, you can only attack mounts with more than one wound.

Well they make a big deal of the fact that they don't want to bother with rules for unhorsed riders in the BRB. As far as the game is concerned horses amount to extra attacks, extra armour save and extra movement.
