Dragon Princes , Silver Helms or Reavers

I have a few questions..This what I have already...
2 mages
Noble on steed
Noble BsB
Plastic dragon kit
15 spearmen
15 archers
10 WL
Lion Chariot
Bolt thrower

I want to run Magic heavy most of the time but also plan running combat heavy when I get all my models..
What would be ideal cavarly for magic heavy army in the 2k range... Im confused about them..They seem to have their purpose but need some help deciding in which to choose..

DP's all the way! They hit the hardest and with the models you already have, DP's will add more punch.

Depends on terrain and tactics.

Though you usually can't go wrong with DPs.

A magic-heavy list at 2K is normally short of fighting units and with cavalry that means Dragon Princes. If I were being ruthless I'd take two units of five, no command unless to carry magic items. Even if you're being nice you need at least one IMHO.

Basically DP's hit much harder than Silver Helms for a few more points. Helms can be OK but usually best as a cost-efficient 115pt unit and that won't face down decent enemy, it's more of a flank detail. Reavers are an OK light unit to back up an Eagle.

Thanks for the insight..I figured Dps would be best due to amount atks at a decent str and weapon skill.. I have only played one game at 750 and im itching to play again Thanks Again
