I've got the code, cheers. And thank you, I'm really proud of them.

I've just finished my mounted archmage, quite pleased with the result but once again simply not a fan of painting that much flat cloth. His cloak in particular was super frustrating. Gone for a cooler white here as starting to feel my models lack a bit of contrast in that area, think it had the desired result.

Not sure what's next. Maybe finishing off my character on griffon, maybe Teclis!

Unfortunately, Imrik needs a lot of work. He's metal so that means extensive pinning and he also needs to be stripped and reprimed and my ultrasonic is out of commission right now. He'll have to wait for a bit.

I ended up starting on Teclis and almost painted him in a single day. Contrary to some of the other models I've painted recently, he was an absolute delight and I'm very pleased with what I've done with him. Going to avoid posting a WIP photo as he's pretty much done aside from gems and a couple of tiny details so hopefully tonight I can post the finished result. Here he is primed, based and ready to rock though. I think this is a much better model than his old 4E sculpt, it's a shame when they released him in finecast they didn't use this one.

Well here he is! The Loremaster himself. Really proud of this one, I think it might be my best work to date. I love this model and it was an absolute joy to paint from start to finish.

I agree. He looks amazing. Definitely your best model. You pushed yourself and improved a lot I think. I can imagine that he's great fun to paint.

An ultrasonic cleaner. It’s a device that sends tiny vibrations through whatever liquid you have in it (methylated spirits, Detol, simple green, whatever) to help agitate any items that are submerged. Really helps on models that are caked in old paint and glue residue, like my Imrik is.

I've already told you on Discord but I think keeping the green colour scheme was the better choice. It really looks gorgeous and I agree that it's your best work so far !

Beautiful work on your Teclis! I never bought any special characters for my elves at the time but I really love that model. Wonderful paint job!

One foot in the hobby

Great googly moogly, Fitzlock. That's wonderful stuff. There's something about it that I can't articulate properly: how the different blocks of colour - white, green, gold, skin - mesh together into the whole.

(I never looked very closely at pre-AoS models of Teclis. Kind of amused he's got a big Parker pen clip on his hat)

I feel your style enhances the feeling of movement on the mounted mage Fitzlock.
