eventhough I don't personally like the purple color on the frost phoenix the paint job is amazing. Magnificent work. Frosted base finishes the model ;)

Wow, I love your painting. The freehand on their coats is amazing :)

Can't wait to see more
Bring me my bow of burning gold, bring me my arrows of desire, bring me my spear O' Clouds unfold, bring me my chariot of FIRE!

Check out my rather slow caledor themed painting log and my dragon project... also my faster moving nurgle themed Warriors of Chaos themed painting log

Clean and tastefull painting, crisp freehands!
A little bit worried about the introduction of a new colorrange with alarielle, doesn't it disturb the coherence of the armies color scheme by making it too multicolored ("ragtag")?
Looking forward to seeing nice closeups of the converted silverhelms and the griffon rider + tyrion models!!!

great work!

I like it! I disagree that the new colors on alarielle are a bad thing. I think it's a really nice job!

I agree completely. It's still might be the worst HE sculpt GW ever did, but the paint job on it is really nice.

Wow, don't know how I missed this thread, but everything here is really nice! I especially like the frosted-over human fleeing (in vain!) from the phoenix. Also, where did the silver helm horses come from? I don't recognize them.

Pretty sure its the chariot horses with sculpted (GS?) barding and the wing-head-ornaments from tyrions malhandir. Thats why I'm so eager to see them in detail - haven't seen this conversion yet.

Yep the horses are from the chariot with sculpted bard also on the rear. Asap I'll post some pictures of the Silver helms of eltharion on stormwing and of other stuff. For the question of the color scheme of alarielle i agree with you Avendigo but I think that for characters in general it is good to avert from the classic color scheme of the army. I 'll try to use some colours more in range with the rest of the army with other characters. Tank you all for the advices

Thank you all for the comment. :D for RE.Lee: it's not proper skill, only patience. I think i'm not very good at painting, but I try to do my best on every single miniature.. . and that helps when a unit is seen in it's complexity....and the ispiration came from here.. I must say THANK YOU ULTHUAN because is for the fantastic work, awesome paintjob, lots of ideas, patience and positive posting of its members that I still continue to paint high elves.
For Galharen: here some individual pics of silver helms. and also a wip for phoenix guard.
