Very well done. It almost makes me wish I'd done TK so I could do the terran for them. I like terrain building, but somehow I've never really gotten into elven terrain. This stuff looks great.

Thanks for the kind words, it really motivates to do more.

I have to admit that when I built this terrain I started to yern for lizardmen / saurian ancient army pretty much only for possibility to do really neat terrain for them :D:D:D

@Shannar would also like to build elven structures, but I think I couldn't pull it off in a level that I would desire. One of the great things about this terrain build (as well for mordheim etc where I have done stuff) is that when you make mistake on measurements etc. you can always "correct" the mistake by breaking stuff more. Many of the cracks and broken stones in this terrain are infact "mistakes" that I simply covered with broken enviroment.

For elven Terrain I wouldn't allow that kind of broken stuff and it would require alot more precise work. On the other hand I could also made terrain that is in middle of war, thus broke it if necessery.

I think my next project will be some shabti or tomb reaper conversion. Havent really decided which to pursue first. I allready bought multiple kits of necroknight / warsphinx boxes leftovers as well some random TK leftover bits. I have dream to make new "hierotitan" or colossus or whatever it was done, redo my Stalkers, build shabtis + tomb reapers.

So for idea is to make the shabtis our of stalker bodies and for the tomb reapers I have something perhaps a little more artistic freedom in mind.

That stone lion head looks like it should be a part of MY bitz box O.o

Kidding, looks amazing! You really have quite a talent =D> . The Ushabti thingy in particular will look very interesting once it is done!

The Shabti conversions are indeed great. And thank you for taking the time to post the work in progress pictures. It's always great and helpful to see how a project comes together.

The necromunda models a lovely as well. I like how they are different from the standard GW bright and cartoony colors and more "natural" looking. I do think the rust effect (if it is such) on the metal parts is to even in color. Real rust is more varied in color and would have non rust metal shine through here and there.

thanks for the comments. Technically I wasn't going for rust effect as per se. Basicly I wanted to have more differential color from concrete and steel thus though that perhaps they use some metal alloy that has brass / copper color in it and it is simply dirty with agras earthshade :D:D

But perhaps I should go for more rusty effects as well perhaps do some yellow black hazard stripes etc. colors on them.

My intend for the new Necromunda figures is that I will buy every gang, assemble / paint them and they are basicly my way to corrupt new people to play necromunda with me :D

I haven't started the project yet, but I intend to start the new necromunda campaign with custom made Pit Slave gang.

-----------

For shabtis I am rather surprised how they turned out to be. I have intention to make 50x100 base where I can place that 40x40 base inside mound of sand so they could work as stalkers coming from underground as well. I have more stalker bodies but no more lion heads. I am currently considering that should I use the hawk head from the skycutter box and skeleton horse head, or should I simply aquire more lion statutes from ebay etc. But right now Necromunda has taken priority on me, so perhaps I get back to my Undying Dynasty projects during fall.

Nice :) You've been busy lately. The necropolis guard look like quite a project. I'm especially impressed that they still manage to rank up as a unit. Where did you get the bases from? Their color scheme is nice and clean.

I agree on working in batches of 5. I do the same thing usually. I find that when doing more the work gets a bit tedious. There is only so many times when you can paint the same detail in a row. At least for me.

You've been busy it seems. Lots of very nice pieces in here. And, as SA mentions, you can't go wrong with a nice lava river :)

I didn't know GW had a new boxed game. Going to check it out.
