I can't rush these things! haha! I've still got greenstuffing to do (scales, crest/some sort of heargear, fingernails, spike on the great weapon's base)
THEN I have to convert the legs into a riding position. Plenty of work to be done before the paint hits plastic!
This one is alot of fun so far

Nice! I like the middle one in the top picture in particular. The gold on some of the others seems a bit flat, though - any washes there or is it just the photo?

So, the Archon is taking shape. Armed with an oldschool agoniser and a blaster, this BS7 bad-boy is almost ready to start shooting jets out of the sky (p.s. Whoa! I didn't realise how big of a picture my new phone takes!)

I've nearly finished him now, so I'll post up a new picture soon(ish.... once photobucket has stopped being broken)
Also started on a raider, which is very time consuming without an airbrush, I must say!
EDIT: Peechures

I like the Archon, his base in particular. I'm on the lookout for nice winter-themed bases, hopefully my Empire army will aquire some in the future
Thanks for sharing!

re lee, thanks!
Because my local store has no woodland scenic white flock in stock (and no order to be made any time soon), and I'm not willing to pay GW price for their pathetic amount of snow flock, I've had to use my green flock and paint it white.
Lots of layers of ceramite white watered down. and the little tuft is a GW tuft painted grey and drybrushed white. Also, the extra stones are made from pieces of slate i found in my garden

They're called "Klaives", they give you +1 Strength and AP2. If you don't know much about 40k, if you negate someone's armour with your weapon, they get no armour save (ie: ap2 negates 2+ armour save. Which is the best armour in the game). So these guys are scary to most armies.
