request help : White Lion shoulder pads and SM armour

Hello everyone

The painting of my high elf army finally got on track, ı painted over 2 hours yesterday alone. I have a few problems :

The white lions are comming along niceley, they are not astonishing but they will live up to my standards. I do have problems finding a pattern for the shoulder pad. Any ideas? I am also doing parts of their armour in shiny white ( ardcoat varnish ) any tips for this? It is ok the way it is but that could improve too.

Secondly how do you paint a green looking sm armour? A green wash and then drybrush the sticky out parts of the armour cloth thing ?
