Infinity wise, I've painted up one of my special characters, a civilian, and another Oniwaban, also done a fiar bit of work on the terrain;

Image

This is my first WiP on the table;

Image

Since then I've gotten the walk ways primed grey, the walls primed red, and the one plastic building done red too;

My Malifaux table is coming together, a ton of paint left to do, I've also started painting more stuff for Kirai.
Hard to believe I've had that crew since it came out in 1.5, but done nothing to it yet...

This is where I'm at with my Wood Elves...

Yup, no where. I want this army finished before the end of the year.

Woah that infinity table is great! Did all that terrain come as is or did you have to assemble /create it?

The infinity terrain was all flat pack MDF, or it might have been HDF, it's Polish, and a total pain to assemble. I cannot recommend Micro Art Studio.
It's done now, and primed, I need to start doing colours.

Some of those wood elves look interesting; it'll be good to see some close ups when they're painted.

But...I thought you didn't use eagles. :P

You say interesting, but it's really just a buch of Glade Guard, I've been using Eagles a lot with my High Elves.

Did some hobby today, primed a tank I need for next weekends tournament. It's a lovely model, and my 2nd favourite tank of all time.
The problem, it's resin, and so needed to be primed with an enamel primer. Thankfully I have my spray booth I made at work, that stuff is a little noxious.
I had primer left in the cup, so I primed a diecast Halo toy ship thing I use on my Infinity table. I also sprayed one of my 15mm Stugs for my Flames, just so I wasn't wasting paint.
Now enamel primers take a long time to set properly, so I'm waiting until tomorrow to do more to the tank, but in the mean time I thought I might paint something else.
I have a Hobbit event on the 16th, and I'm taking my Galadhrim, my problem was the only Heroes I have are a Galadhrim Captain, a model I use as Rumil, and Legolas.
Legolas doesn't fit at all, so I've been looking for a good model for Rumil's Brother Haldir. Chance has it one of my club mates bought a large box of LoTR blisters to club last meet.
He was selling off all the stuff he didn't want, and he just happened to have a mint Armoured Haldir. I of course gave him cash money and thanked him.
I dug him out of the pile of the pile of LoTR heroes I have to work on today and smashed him out in a matter of hours. Rather simple paint job, but there is a lot I can still do to him.
He's not quite the same colours as everyone else, manly because the older ones were all done with GW, where as he was done mostly in Vallejo, but he's close enough on the table.

"One does not simply ride a tank into Mordor."

I forgot you had LotR elves, then spent about half an hour looking through your blog to try to find pictures of them, then realised there aren't any (or am I blind?). <-Hint :wink:

You guys haven't seen my Galadhrim yet? Damn, best fix that.

3am kind of pictures, so not great, but you get the idea.

All the painted ones, basically the Galadhrim, I have a heap of High Elves, and Heroes for them that I haven't done yet:

Image

The Archers, Elf bows are basically the only good shooting in the Hobbit;

Image

The Blades, these guys are as good as I can get for killing. If they go two handed I have a chance of killing things;

Image

The Spears, these guys form a shield wall to protect the Blades from enemy missile weapons;

Image

The Knights, trouble makers, I have three with blades/shields, they hold thing up for me, two with bows, for that around the back, pew, pew, pew, oh and a banner;

Image

and the Heroes, my counts as Rumil, the newly painted Haldir, and a Galadhrim Captain, and a random Legolas;

Don't mind the random High Elf in the back of the Blades, I had to use a Blade Warrior to make Rumil, so I'm missing one.
It does show how I plan on painting the High Elves, not actually sure about it now though.
I was going to make them all similar, so I could play bigger games with them combined, which is still a good idea.

Thanks Jimmy, practice makes better yo, now that I look at them, kind of wish the scale was different to the rest of the armour.

They look great. I think the scale is fine as it is - the colour scheme is very effective with only three main colours.

In a rather none elvish note, I painted up an A34 Comet for my Bolt Action force.
There is an event on this coming weekend, and my list is themed on Britain crossing the Rhine, and racing to Northern Germany to take the surrender of the German Government.
This is my second favourite piece of armour, and my most favourite from WWII.

Image

It's ready for decals, when I get them, and then weathering, should be getting them this weekend at the event.

So, maybe I've started another game to be terrible at ^_^

This is the Clan Ito faction starter for the game Bushido, by GCT. It's a fantasy skirmish game in a fantasy Japan setting.
Also pictured is a little bit of terrain I picked up at the same time, It'll be multi use. I should be able to use it in Ronin, Bushido, and maybe Malifaux.
Got it all for under $100, not bad hey. The models are primed, I'm going to prime the scenery tomorrow.

More non-elfiness,
I am going to paint more elves one day, honest.

Made a start on the Bushido terrain, I'm not liking it yet, but it has a ways to come.

It looks pretty good already.

Don't worry, you'll have plenty of work to do on your elves soon. You know, replacing all those square bases... ;)

Anyone who actually replaces bases rather then telling people just to deal with it is flat out nuts.

My basing is overly smple, but even then, I'm not keen on rebasing them. I'm also not keen on rebasing my 40k dark angels. I am basing my 30k on 32mm bases, and I might redo my small raven guard force.

Some might think I wasted the weekend painting these Mercs figures, but I love no pressure painting, and these were just some models I had laying around.
I was just bored and thought, why not paint something.

Finally back painting my High Elves. Crusade is less than a Month away, and I'm keen to retire my old Archers as Shadow Warriors.
I've had this box of Shadow Warriors since last Crusade...
About time I started, my old Archers were painted up as Mist Walkers, but this unit I wanted them to be proper Druchii hunting Nagarathi.

Image

That's all Greys, except wood, the armour, which is black metal, and the outside of the cloak, which is a lovely shade of black called Nato Black.

I've loving them, I have gone off dark a little, with some splashes of gold, my reasoning is gifts from the Yvressi, gold inlay bows and quivers.
Also added blue trim, just to link them in with the rest of the army.

Silly me doing hobby on a Monday night. It was a long day at work, and I shouldn't have touched a brush, but I didn't stuff up, so that ain't bad.

Some highlighting, and some small detail work don't, I'm loving how menacing these guys are.
