Thank you KNC, you just made my day with that comment :D

Great model indeed. Your OSL is becoming more subtle and great to see with each model you use it on. It works great. And the details on the model are lovely.

thank you guys:) Well, it's a long time since I painted something new to my High Elves as I kind of get bored of fantasy (as a massive battle games) and switched to 40k and more skirmish games, such as Warcry and kill team.
However, the new ghost-Eltharion model seems very interesting and I would love to paint!

Absolutely incredible as usual, of course. =D> Especially the phoenix - an IoB griffon conversion?

Correct, an IoB griffon, it's the second conversion I did this way, previously I made frostheart phoenix:)

I like the way you’ve really gone for it with the dragon Galharen. Though ironically my favourite bit is probably the subdued banner.

I know what you mean, I like that banner too, very fluffy:)
I habe to say I didn't use my elves for long time already (played Tomb Kings lately) but now I'm getting the vibe again. I'm even considering buying those new GW spearelves as well as ghost Eltharion.
BUT...
have you seen this?!

GW is realising this model for independent stores as a aid kit during covid-19 times, I've already reserved one in my local store, pretty amazing sculpt and bro, the most epic handshake ever (see Predator movie with Arnold :) )

I ordered him, however when I see how much does it cost on ebay right now, I will resell them futher. But, he made me to make a Catachan style kill team force, I got for free some models from puppetswar from my friend and I hope I will be able to post here soon some progress (it will be very fast TT level without much details as I just want them to be battle ready, nothing fancy).

Quick update, the first test model for my Catachan Kill Team squad. Gunner with plasma gun.
I've used the minis from Puppets War which are really great and after some kitbashing the special weapons I've built the whole 15-men squad.
Today I present you the first painted model.

He looks pretty good. If this is just a test model then I can't wait to see the rest... I love the camouflage pants and the way they blend in with the shrubs on the base. And his facial expression is great.

I think the object source lighting from the gun on the plant is a bit too much. I would think the gun would only give this much light when it's completely dark outside. And then having such a bright gun kind of defeats the purpose of all the camouflage stuff.

I might fix that osl effect, I'm not sure about it either:)
This squad will be painted with tabletop quality, but I want to focus more on bases, in real life this base looks pretty good, but I'm still thinking how to recreate the realistic jungle.

You have a very interesting definition of 'tabletop quality'...

I think you have the jungle feel going pretty well on the base. There isn't a lot of room to add stuff. And I think adding more will just make the model feel cluttered. For more jungle feel I would look for separate terrain pieces.

Here comes my newest update, I present today the Roboute Guiliman, the Golden Boy:)
The golden color scheme was chosen by the client, painting gold on big surfaces is quite challenging but I like the final effect.

Thanks!
It seems I turned into full time 40k right now hehe. I will post some more updates of my catachans soon, but also I can't wait to push my grey knights a lil bit more.
I've printed some 3d parts to convert the dreadknight and this will be quite challenging I think.

Has anyone of you bought already the new Lumineth box? Any opinions?

This is inspiring.

I am liking your SF stuff way more than your fantasy works. It feels like your painting technique and choice of colours makes a better blend. :)

I agree with you, it makes me more fun to paint wh40k than my fantasy elves. I wish I could change the color scheme of my elves but it is way too late for that. But, I can live with that, I switched to 40k because I got bored of the 9th age community, whining, changing armybooks way too often and generall atmosphere around 9th age. So the elves are packed and I don't even remember when I played with them last time.

Again nothing high elves related, again some 40k stuff, this time I painted my grandmaster nemesis dreadknight model:)
It's about time as I will use him in local tourney in 2 weeks:)

Hello everybody!

Today I would like to present you my newest miniature as an addition to my Grey Knights chapter. I fell in love with the new #Indomitus box so I decided to make some conversions based on models from the starter set.

The first choice was the Space Marine Captain, amazing model, especially the shield. So I cut him a lil bit to make the Paladin Sergeant or Grand Master (or whatever model I need atm).
