Thanks Jimmy:)
I have now on my desk some elvish heroes in Japan-Samurai-Geisha style, but when I have a free day or two I want to speed-paint a unit of 30TK archers, so stay tuned :)

The proportions are definitely horrendous (the converted PG), but that is not your fault :/.

well, maybe that one guy with his elbow on the level of waist has some proportion problems but in fact I like how the rest look like.
This unit looks amazing in RL 8)
I'm doing some commissions right now, but in 2 weeks time I plan to start SS project and either mounted BSB (conversion partially done) or 20 new swordmasters - I'm wondering how much on them I can paint with airbrush 8)
And they seem playable in 9th age :D

Good evening!

I painted the Standard Bearer to my Dragon Guard unit eventually;)
Actually I did it a long time ago, but I completely forgot to take some pictures.
Please have a look;)

Great looking model. The freehand on the banner is great. And I love what you do with the red. The shading is great. As someone who paints a lot of red in his army, my shading never looks that good. Also, the level of detail in the face is amazing. How do you manage details that fine?

It's a nice idea.

I think Andrew may have done something similar with Black Guard models.

I did indeed :) I'm hoping now that Secret Santa is done and I have 10 days off work I might actually be able to get round to painting something more
Bring me my bow of burning gold, bring me my arrows of desire, bring me my spear O' Clouds unfold, bring me my chariot of FIRE!

Check out my rather slow caledor themed painting log and my dragon project... also my faster moving nurgle themed Warriors of Chaos themed painting log

Today I want to present you my new project, the mounted BSB for my High Elf army.
At first only the conversion itself, I will proceed with painting later today.

How many points is that flagpole attached to the body? Just by the hand?

Yes, however I will glue it to the body as well to make it more stiff.

It's a thermo treated platicard :) (well, actually part of some plastic box)

Well, I'm not gonna cast it as I don't have skills and tools in that matter, however it's pretty simple to do this by yourself :)
