What you guys think for a balanced list? 8 PD, 4 DD, 2DS
Anvil = WL, Spearmen
Mobility = Tiranoc Chariot, DPs, Reavers
SCR = Spearmen
Redirector = Reavers, GE
Shoot = Archers, RBT
Support = DPs, Chariot

I'd pick the Wand over the Jewel and get Banner of Sorcery in there. It's really good value. The eagle guy is fine in himself but a slight luxury in the context of the list maybe.

Also you could be pushing things with three Core but if it works for you, great.

Reason why I went JotD was because I didn't want to go over 9 PD. Kind of like an ETC restrictions. Was hoping to bring this to a teir comp system so that I would get marked lightly like maybe a 4/5 (if HEs started on 3).

I haven't tried 3 core units and I really want to give it ago especially against horde armies such as skaven and OnG.

Seems pretty solid. You may run into problems with a heavy cavalry army if you cant lock them down with your mobile units long enough to wear them down to killable levels. Your spearmen wont be able to wound anything with 3+ or better armour and/or toughness 4 so be careful relying on them as an anvil. I might suggest using phoenix guard instead of spearmen since they can take some damage. Also i dont think the lone eagle rider is a good idea. All of my experiments with using eagle rider have ended with him getting shot to death on turn 2 or 3. As long as you maintain tactical superiority you will fare well. Luck in battle.
