You have three basic manoeuvre units, one of which is compulsory and usually a throwaway, and probably deployed to protect the RBTs.
So that leaves you with a hammer, the DPs and an anvil, the PGs, The PGs look like an attempt at a Deathstar. If I were your opponent, I'd try to isolate the DPs and wipe them out, distract the PGs and move a few units around them to get at the RBTs.
On the whole, both selections are alright, it would depend on whom you're facing and what's his order of battle. I suspect you can pull it off once or twice. Try and throw in lots of terrain, creating a corridor for your PGs to get to grips with his main forces.
