Ulthuan etymology?

Anyone know the meaning of Ulthuan

I never came across one. "Ulth" is an element used quite a lot in both HE books and for Eldar in 40k, but I never saw it translated. It may have something to do with 'guarding', but that is only my guesswork.
Perhaps some more accomplished master of lore will know an answer? :D

if Ulth means guarding or to guard. then perhaps the uan is a suffix for land or place. hence the etymology maybe the guarded land?

It might. The problem is,we do not really know what it is supposed to mean. I have it connected with guardian statues guarding deadly artefact in Island of Blood novella. But that interpretation could be completely wrong...
