Counter Charge interview with Alessio podcast

#1 Post by Swordmaster of Hoeth »

I posted it in the other subforum but I think it is still good podcast for all the war gamers even if they don't play KoW. Some really good insights on game design in particular:

Brilliant episode, Alessio is ace.

So much refreshing stuff coming out of KoW, designer and community interactivity, open play testing etc, it's a breath of freash air.

I agree, Lordy!

I really like his philosophy as a game designer. The approach where you spend time thinking about how to formulate a plan on the battle field instead of constantly checking the rules.

Can't believe GW let people like Alessio, Tuomas, Andy or Rick go. #-o

Most of them were good players too, which I feel helps a lot in design.

Either that, or a very humble person in charge.
Neither of the two happen very often ;)

The only game I know which has a grandmaster with both of such traits is Starcraft's David Kim.
