Ok first some idle chitchat cause it is my M.O. la di da di da. The weather is nice here. Uhm hope everybody is enjoying the new book it's been some time since the latest story updates I imagine everybody is a little busy painting and modelling their new skycutters and phoenixes and whatnot and has little time for writing stories at the time. Well I do cause my stupid book has not arrived yet nor have my new models so you think about that for a moment. For those of you who reads the story hi again there is at the very least Aicanor so one person will be greeted by that. For those of ou who are new to the forum 'ello 'ello I say, though I strongly recommend that you read one of the better stories before you read this one so as not to think the story telling section is all full of people with no sense of grammar and imagination because there are many nice stories to read this is after all not my first language (that is swedish and I am very proud). Some time ago also learned that some characters have been featured in other peoples stories so I should have to write some interesting stories about the adventures of my own General and hope that his presence might grace the stories of better elven scribes. Ok ok ok I have been rambling on as normal in the beginning with nonsense but it is fun so uhm well here is the latest. (And the Crowd goes wild cheering) oh comon I guy has gotta build up his ego somehow.

“You there check to see if they are within bow range” the maurader commander ordered one of his lieutenants. The maurader commander Snorri Leifsson was huge, really huge even for a norseman there was really no wonder the chaos gods favoured him. Many times had he thanked the gods for bringing these pale warriors to the shores of norsca, finally some real warriors to butcher Snorri thought. The dark elves rode in quiet disdain of their allies but for now they needed them and they were too stupid to know they were being manipulated. The maurader fired as long as he could but barely reached two thirds of the distance required to fire upon the opposing high elves. Quickly the elves across the battlefield responeded and several arrows struck home. “Ha they think to win an archers cowardly victory, onwards slaughter them all!” Snorri roared has he charged the seven knights across the icy stream.

“Fire at the flanks we want them charge en masse and collapse the ice before they reach us” Eriadoric bellowed to the others. When there arrows landed they all struck home and the mauraders clustered even closer together while the dark elves realized what was happening and fanned out even further. Another volley of arrows struck home and the ice cracked however the mauraders couldn’t seem to care less they continued their brute charge and now they had covered more than half the distance. “The ice it is not breaking what do we do?” Aerendir asked Eriadoric whilst preparing to fire another arrow. “Fire at will! When they reach within fifteen metres prepare for melee combat” Eriadoric answered calmly releasing another arrow. The enemy was charging onwards ignoring the casualties suffered. With fifty metres left the ice still refused to collapse and now the elves could clearly see their enemies eyes, eyes filled with unmatched bloodlust and unending rage. “Eriadoric the ice, it won’t give!” Taledor shouted over his shoulder. “You have your orders Taledor carry them out” Giladis said to Taledor who was standing next to him. When the mauraders had twenty metres left to the elves the ice shattered at several places breaking their lines as they fell through. Even with the plan succeeding the elves were still outnumbered nearly four to one, as the riders shifted towards more solid ground. “Draw swords, fan out and meet them head on” Eriadoric barked out his new order and the knights acted swiftly. Bordroc, Eriadoric and Taledor covered the left side if the sinkhole created in the stream. Orophin lead the others to cover the right then they clashed with the enemy. The horses quickly broke the right line however Bordroc transformed into his ogre sized dragonshape scared the charging horses to a complete stop. With the riders halted Eriadoric and the twinblades of Tiranoc carved bloody path with the wielders eyes fixed upon the big brute the norsemen called Snorri. Taledor took to the skies right above hole where several of the mauraders where drowning in the freezing water. At the right side of the gap of ice cold water Orophin, Aerendir, Giladis and Loec were fighting back to back. Aerendir and Giladis with large swings of their mighty greatweapons cut down steed and rider as for those who got through were quickly slayed by Orophin and Loec. Yet slowly all seven started to lose ground and soon they stood seven elves shoulder to shoulder breathing heavily against three times that number of druchii and norsemen having beaten more than two thirds of what they were initially faced. The cat had cornered the rat and it was about to pounce. Orophin had been hit with three handbow bolts in his back and Aerendir had suffered an axe blow that had cut deep enough to break his collarbone as such it was a miracle that they still held their weapons. Eriadoric knew this was the weakest part of the plan he had taken a gambit, with the enemy now outnumbering them and the terrain so open they were running the risk of becoming surrounded especially with two elves so greatly wounded. The remaining mauraders hurled themselves at them allowing for the druchii riding around and attacking their rear. Handbow bolt after handbow bolt hit Bordroc and with five norsemen attacking him simultaneously it was only a matter of time before he would be overwhelmed. Eriadoric fought just as many guarding Orophin who had collapsed of exhaustion. Giladis swung his sword with the swiftness worthy of the greatest swordmasters to compensate for the weakened state of Aerendir. Loec taunted three of the druchii to attack him as he fended of two mauraders in melee. Taledor had accepted the challenge roared out by Snorri for any worthy enemy to come face the fury of chaos. Though Taledor was faster than his enemy and landed several hits he was quickly forced into close quarters combat were he could no longer avoid the terrible blows of his opponent. So disaster struck and Snorri cut clean off Taledors left arm with one swing of his axe, and loomed over for the kill. That moment a searing bolt of brilliant white energy struck from the sky causing a shockwave that disengaged the mauraders and their druchii allies from combat. The knights then heard the screech of eagles as they recalled the glory of Aenarion and filled their hearts with renewed courage. The eagles descended upon the mauraders tossed back towards the frozen water while pure white flames emerged from the thin air immolating the druchii at the rear of the knights. Eriadoric saw the opportunity and charged forth challenging the big brute Snorri who joyfully accepted laughing at the scrawny elf that attacked him. Eriadoric armed with his Twin blades of Tiranoc attacked with unmatched ferocity and even though Snorris axe hit home it had no effect as Eriadoric was shrouded with a shield of Saphery. The battle was short and before Eriadoric could even break a sweat he had separated the chaos warriors’ head from his torso. With that strike the battle was won and two eagles descended upon the fleeing remnants of the chaos troops and with the last eagle landing allowing the High elf mage to dismount.

“Looks like I made it in the nick of time” The elf mage said to the others telekinetically slowing Bordrocs fall to the ground. “We are in your debt mage” Giladis said sheathing his sword and kneeling to show his respect to the mage. “Get up Swordmaster you don’t have to kneel before me” the lady told Giladis who quickly rose up again. She was a majestic woman with a very commanding presence even though she seemed to be the same age as the knights. The others were already underway tending to the wounded Eriadoric had managed to get Taledor back on his feet while Loec were carrying an unconscious Orophin towards the hidden carriages with the human offspring and the wounded shadow warriors. “Can you help the wounded?” Eriadoric asked the mage when he and Taledor reached talking distance while Taledor grimly looked at what remained of his left arm from shoulder to elbow. “I will do what I can but I cannot replace your arm Lothernian I am sorry” the mage explained before she left to oversee Orophin who was the most grievously wounded. Taledor took the news better then Eriadoric expected yet even though there was great sadness in his eyes he shed no tears he simply remained quiet. “The Eagles will carry the most critically wounded back to base the rest of you will go with me by horse” the mage commanded. “We have some extra cargo… stowaways if you will” Eriadoric responded. “We took a couple of human whelps with us as well as some wounded shadow warriors we found left for dead at a designated waypoint” Loec continued were Eriadoric had left off. “Your orders were to take no survivors the admiral will not be happy about this… unless he never hears about it that is” the mage responded. Eriadoric and Loec looked at each other in confusion. “I along with high loremaster Teclis never agreed with this whole leave no survivors business it is barbaric, it seems prominent to ask one of the Eagles to take a little detour and leave them in Imperial Nordland” the mage said with a mischievous smile. Eriadoric, Loec and Giladis along with the mage Vereesa then rode with the knights’ horses south. While Loec and Giladis slept in their saddles most of the way, Vereesa and Eriadoric conversed regarding many things about the campaign Eriadorics older brother as well as Ulthuan past present and future.

The base camp the elves had set up was close to the shoreline so it would be easy to travel between the chaos infested fortress they laid siege to aswell and the fleet ships anchored along the shores. Admiral Rulion was a careful commander and he preferred the wounded and resting be stationed close to the ships were they could quickly escape and if necessary be covered by the ships heavy fire. The basecamp itself had several layers of magical protection so as to avoid any raids on it even so there was a company of archers stationed on the temporary battlements set up to safeguard the camp and scores of shadow warriors guarded the basecamp surroundings. Rulion was more than content with the situation except for one thing. Reports were coming in daily of a chaos warhost marching to relieve the siege the elves had set up. In the plans originally set up for the campaign the chaos fortress had not been marked as a target since scouts had not seen it, however as soon as it was sighted Sea Lord Aislinn had ordered a priority shift the fortress was to be burned to the ground all signs of chaos purged out of existence. The siege had cost Rulion to give up on several original objectives and it made the remaining far more difficult to carry out. If this Gauron Kul and his army of chaos would reach the fortress before it fell Rulion wasn’t sure if the elves would even win. “Admiral, the mage Vereesa is here to see you about the recent communication from the tower of Hoeth” one of Rulions lieutenants said as he entered the commanders tent. “Send her in these orders are highly prioritized” Rulion commanded calmly as he finished another bundle of paperwork. “Admiral” Vereesa said as she entered the tent the two had been friends since they were very young. “You received some new orders from the high loremaster with high priority… apparently there are some disturbing magical forces further northeast he wishes you to investigate. I have already taken the liberty of setting up some… let us call them travelling companions, bodyguards seems like such a loaded word and according to your father it is a word you don’t know the definition of” Rulion explained. “Thank you Rulion It is good the High Loremaster took notice in the last report I sent to him. As for my travelling companions I prefer to pick my own and I have just the seven in mind” Vereesa responded after which she pointed out Eridoric and his knights. “I will allow for Eriadroic, Giladis and Aerendir the rest I urge you to reconsider” Rulion said strongly. “Why” Vereesa then asked. “Nobody knows exactly the extent of Bordrocs powers and according to rumor he has already taken the monsters shape more than once. The ellyrian Orophin even though seemingly at full strength should be in bedrest for atleast another week. Taledor has lost an arm what good is he? Lastly though Loec guaranteed swift travels through the northern waters and won a battle against the druchii with minimal losses the northern fleet commanders ensures me that something is just not right in his head” Rulion replied without lifting his head from his papers. “They are a team, you can’t split them up and nothing seems wrong with Orophin I hear Taledor has solved his arm problem, and I vouch for the other two besides since when did you not appreciate some good old fashioned crazy” Vereesa retorted leaning at the Admirals desk showing her cleavage, something that always had made Rulion speechless. “I uh” Relion tried to say something but he could not. “Then it is settled you will set it up won’t you Rulion” Vereesa said as she left the commanders tent. Rulion could only lean back in his chair and think “What just happened?”

“Anybody wish to accompany me for run?” Orophin asked. Aerendir got on his feet after doing an inhumane amount of pushups “I’m long overdue for a run and it will do Alurawtôr some good to get out of these confined spaces” Aerendir responded. “Anybody else?” Orophin asked again. Bordroc and Loec both grunted turned over and kept snoozing. Giladis was quietly meditating and had so far not made a move. “So that is No then? Fine whenever you are ready then Aerendir”. Just outside the knights tent Eriadoric was checking up on Taledor. “How is your new arm Taledor?” Eriadoric asked Taledor. “It is the single greatest creation in the history of elfkind, you just let me know when I can take it out for a spin” Taledor responed as he showed his newly constructed arm. It didn’t look like much but Taledors left arm was now a weapon that rivaled his suit of armor able to adapt to suit many different combat scenarios. “I really like the cannon feature it has, it blows straight through these chaos worshippers armor without endangering me or everything around it like all human devices of the same type and if that is not enough I managed to get hold of some potent magical tricks from our mutual friend Vereesa, that chick is not only super-hot but she also stocks up on some seriously cool stuff though you can’t tell Saxerielle I said that she has eyes and ears everywhere” Taledor told Eriadoric. “Correct me if I am wrong but didn’t she stick a knife between your legs the last time you hit on her?” Eriadoric responded. “I’m wearing her down…But for now I ought to watch my step with that angel” Taledor answered. Eriadoric could do nothing but smile, it was good to see Taledor back to his usual self.

As Eriadoric was about to leave Taledor to his tinkering one of Admiral Rulions couriers approached with a letter bearing the Sea Lords sigil “High helm Eriadoric of Tiranoc?” the courier asked. “That is me” Eriadoric responded quickly. “New orders from the Admiral” the courier said handing him the letter. When Taledor heard this he was all ears jumped up from behind his workbench. Eriadoric flipped up the seal and started to read quietly. After a while Taledor couldn’t keep quiet any longer “Well what?” he asked as impatiently as a child. “We’ve been assigned escort duty we are to participate in a communication between Admiral Rulion, Archmage Veeresa and High Loremaster Teclis for further instructions”. “So we are babysitting your girlfriend now is that it?” Taledor said discouraged. “I didn’t ask for this Taledor and Archmage Veeresa is not my girlfriend besides I have a feeling we are about to be in more danger than those here besieging that accursed fortress” Eriadoric concluded as he wrapped up the letter and went to tell the others.

“Ah the bodyguards have arrived to the summit” an image of the High Loremaster said as the seven knights entered the Admirals tent. “I did not expect you to insist on taking bodyguards Veeresa… Ah but then again you didn’t it was the Admiral who demanded it… No matter they might prove useful”. There always was something easy about talking to Teclis Rulion thought to himself if you could call it talking though the mage seemed to already know what everybody was about to say so sometimes he conversed mostly with himself and his own thoughts. “Well you have your orders Veeresa investigate further report your findings and if necessary deal with the situation yourself” those were the final words before the image of the High Loremaster disappeared. “You seven have been selected to accompany Archmage Veeresa on her mission to the northeast investigating magical disturbances, your objective is to guard the Archmage and bring her back alive or die in the attempt is that clear?” the admiral said as he inspected Eriadoric and his knights. “Sir, yes sir” the knights responded in unison. The admiral stared at them one by one while Veeresa grinnd mischievously. “You are all dismissed pack your things and get ready to travel we won’t be expecting you back here for some time” the admiral said and they all started to leave the tent. “Eriadoric you stay I’d like another word just you and me” The admiral said as he put his left hand on Eriadorics shoulder. When the admirals’ tent was empty Rulion leaned in and put on his most intimidating face “If any harm comes to her, I’ll shove you down a repeater bolt thrower and fire you to the bottom of the ocean is that understood!” Rulion barked at Eriadoric whose body froze in place as he managed a weak response. “What was that soldier did you say something, are my orders clear?!” the admiral yelled spraying his face. “Sir yes Sir!” Eriadoric responded. “Good I’ll hold you to that, now off with you” the Admiral said concluding the meeting.
“Going behind enemy lines like this, feels stupid is what it feels like I tell you” Bordroc said as the knights were packing their things. “You saw that the orders came from high loremaster Teclis right? There are few wiser elves on Ulthuan, if he says investigate I think we should” Giladis responded pushing down some more food into his travelling pack. “Saphery has too much respect for the mages now dragons there is the true strength of the elves” Bordroc said looking to the sky. “There has not been a Phoenix king from Caledor in a long time Bordroc… without the dragons Caledor is nothing but a harsh volcanic mountain land with a pompous arrogant people who thinks too much of themselves, no offense Bordroc” Taledor said grinning. “How can he not take offense to that? Besides Lothern is not exactly the pride of elfkind” Loec responded. “Oh yeah, says the guy from Cothique what is it you guys are famous for now again oh that’s right… nothing” Taledor said which seemed to quiet Loecs’ voice down in the argument. “There may be fewer dragons about these days but it only takes one” Bordroc grunted. “I agree with Bordroc but it is hard to choose remember Caledor Dragontamer was both a mage and a dragonrider so is not the existence of both of equal value?” Orophin added in diplomatically. “Right now the wealth of Lothern is what keeps Ulthuan afloat and our people alive” Taledor said proudly. At that moment everybody seemed to wish to say something but Eriadoric interrupted. “The waystones keep Ulthuan afloat Taledor you know that, the blood and sweat of all our people is what keeps us alive from the spear and the bow of the lowliest peasant to the magics of the everqueen from the wingspread of the Eagles to the fire of the dragons every realm contributes” Eriadoric said as he grabbed his bag. “Besides Tiranoc is the best of the realms” Eriadoric whispered to himself as he started walking towards the eagles.

Author: (Here is where I am not claiming the ownership of this little story myself but concludes other people can not have written it smart huh) So the other day I went to do my laundry and all machines were still full from the guy/girl before so I waited a little while like maybe ten minutes but then I got frustrated and pulled out the clothes inside put them in the laundry basket and showed in my own clothes in the same brutal manner I always do. As I was doing that the owner of the clothes that had previously washed her clothes entered the room. You ever seen Late night with Craig Ferguson oh this was an awkward pause allright my having taken out her laundry and jammed them in the bin as it is called and she having washed her well lets call them delicates. I managed to get out an half sincere apology and she you know said it was ok she was late after all. So finally I am finished I wait a couple of hours and go up to go get my laundry I open the black machine had fold down my clothes and then the colored machines and fold down my clothes and then when it is time for the white I open it up but the clothes have all turned pink. Well that is F:ing great so I root about and find a pair of delicates stuck to one of the metal things inside the centrifuge. I'm big on comedy tho so I check up where the girl who did her laundry before me lives put on as many of my clothes that has turned pink as possible and go knock on her door. "Hi I say I think something of yours got stuck in the machine" I tell her and show her the red underwear. "I can see that" she giggles and I assume thinks karmas a bitch cause that is what I was thinking and of course OMG OMG my clothes are all F:ing pink. "Well... I won't put your clothes in the bin again" I said and she started laughing in my laundry misery how cruel is that. So how could I know she didn't write this story because the true author of this story wouldn't just have laughed he would have roled on the floor in pointing and clutcing his ribs in pain from the laughter when he saw what had happen. The real author can sometimes find a little to much fun in such instances.

Fair Day to you!
