Fortress of Dawn.Citadel of Dusk.[from wikipedia]There is an island just off shore of Ind, the equivalent of Sri Lanka, mostly covered by forests on which a High Elf fortress known as the
Tower of the Sun is situated. A collection of smaller islands are bunched up close to Ind, one of which has another High Elf outpost known as the
Tower of Stars. Separating the Kingdoms of Ind from Grand Cathay is a leg of mountains from the Ogre Kingdoms, the equivalent of the Himalayas, where the Land of the Celestial Dragon Monks is. Just inside the nation of Ind is a coastal city called the
City of Spires. The rulers of Ind are said to be attended by many servants and slaves, as well as being wealthy and generous.
[8th Edition Rule book] Every tenth year, the court of the Everqueen goes forth upon a seaborne pilgrimage to the hidden Tower of the Sun south of the equator. The Queen alone can hold back the slow encroachment of the gravid orb Morrslieb that occurs with every eclipse… The Everqueen gives up her own moonblood in a great ritual that ensures Morrslieb is held at bay for another decade. Such is the Elven way; to save the world and expect nothing in return.
Rod uses the City of Spires for his Army Fluff, he might know more.
A quick google had me find an
old thread on Asrai.org in which our own Giladis shares some knowledge on some of these places. It's worth PMing him to see how much he knows.
