I'm around to help people too! I just don't have electronic files to share with people. The following people are the main cast. Other people can tell me what sort of things they'd be interested in, and I'll try to work them in later. I probably won't have space for anyone else until about ten years into the game's timeline or so.

Amun-Lothain
Cidracin
Prince Asuryan
Anarion
Bob of Yvresse
Krusader

Anyone willing to put up with me on msn and is able to explain me the rules can add me on random. =P I'll try not to be annoying.

Damn, you go away for one weekend and come back to having an Aussie hoping a dragon overcomes its natural impulse to bite stuff.

Calarion, since I'm too late for being in the main cast, could you add me to the support cast? I'll annoy Bob into explaining how it all works, and probably be stereotypically Irish. Thanks!

If you're in the Support Cast, you don't need to make a character just yet. Once the game starts, I'll find out what sort of things you want to be and gradually work you into the main storyline. You'll need extra rules that the others don't have to be a non-Salisbury knight.

Also... you don't have to be Irish or Saracen, those were just the examples! I think I've got rules to handle pretty much anything that appears in Arthurian literature at some point or another, knightly or non knightly.

I'm pretty much ready to go. I only have to create a Coat of Arms and name all my family - there's far too many of them :p

Again, many thanks to Bob for the good hour and a half he put into helping me.

Alright Cal, we can do it when we both have the time and I'd like to be a Saracen.

Thus far I have characters for Anarion, Prince Asuryan and Bob of Yvresse! I hear that Cidracin's is almost done, and I think I've got Krusader's around the place somewhere. Amun, you need to get in touch with Anarion, Bob, Krus or myself and make a knight.

Thanks to Anarion I've got everything ready. :D Just a few more details (names and heraldry). I'll get those stats for you ASAP.

Done my character and emailed it to Calarion :D
All I have left is my heraldry to do which I'm doing now.

All characters have now been received! I need a few more shields as well, but there's no rush - for the first adventure, you're not even allowed to have coats of arms!

I'm going to start a thread now, but I'm not going to start the game yet. The first few posts are going to be for character sheet information, and then the Family History. I want to tidy up the character sheets into a neater and more usable format, so I'll do that too. Once everything is done, then the RPG will start.

And of course, the RPG needs a name; for this, I'm going to refer back to the Camelot musical...
Each evening, from December to December,
Before you drift to sleep upon your cot,
Think back on all the tales that you remember
Of Camelot.
Ask ev'ry person if he's heard the story,
And tell it strong and clear if he has not,
That once there was a fleeting wisp of glory
Called Camelot.

Don't let it be forgot
That once there was a spot
For one brief shining moment that was known
As Camelot.
Therefore, I dub this game One Brief Shining Moment

Is there going to be an OOC thread as well? Also good job on the family histories so far :D

I'd guess not. MSN/PM for communication. OOC limited to post scripts on posts and with minor exceptions only if you post IC as well. Otherwise we end up with a situation where the OOC thread is as long or longer than the game thread.

ok, the exploits of your fathers have been recounted. I've failed to find a useful electronic character sheet, so the easiest way for me to do this is to have physical character sheets for all of you. That makes it a bit harder for you guys to know where you're at, but I'll tell you how you're progressing, and it might help to disguise the mechanics behind the scenes. I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I'll have the campaign started by the end of the weekend. :D
