I just realized that links in my signature has broken for some unknown reason. The same syntax works in regular post thread without a problem. I tried to add ' ' marks on the [url= and " "... what am I doing wrong?

Fixed it for you.

There are checkboxes underneath the signature edit field. They are disabled by default. It's an anti-spam measure introduced in the big site update. You can enable them by removing the checkmark. Most important one is "Disable BBCode", the others are "Disable smilies" and "Do not automatically parse URLs"

Because of the change in default setting in the site update, anyone editing their signature for the first time since the update disables them.
