Announcement regarding shadow accounts

The loremasters have decided that too many people have too many accounts on Ulthuan. As a result, in two weeks time we will be banning any more users who have multiple accounts from the same location. If you have siblings or offspring that post from the same computer then they must be logged here first. We will make judgement calls on who we believe. Anyone who fails to register secondary ("shadow") accounts by the end of the period may be banned without warning, and not let back. Bot and other automated account types are considered shadows of the owner, or otherwise will be banned for having no owner.

Anyone who wishes to denounce their shadow accounts can do so here. These accounts will then be banned in two weeks along with everyone else, but you'll get to keep your primary account.

In order to set an example, the Loremasters have decided to declare their own shadows, and a few that we've gathered from ex-lores and discussion with other members:

Bob of Beleriand is the one high profile shadow account of Narmo. Narmo has already been banned, and we have now decided the Bob account will be too.
TimmyMWD is a shadow account of Voodoomaster.
Burning Sun is a shadow account of Ricold.
Victork is a shadow account of Regulus
Eldacar is a general purpose admin bot, used by all the Lores.
Calarion is an advertising bot of an AI company who have been using us as a turing test.

So Bob, Timmy, Victork, Eldacar, Calarion and this account (Sun) will all be being banned in two weeks. Those accounts with Loremaster status who are shadows of older accounts without will have their Loremaster status transferred (So Ricold and Regulus will gain Loremaster status again)

There's a few other unused Loremasteer shadow accounts that are being banned, but we're not listing them here as they've been inactive for a lot longer, and weren't so well known at the time anyway.

So, reply here if you have any comments or wish to announce your own shadow accounts

The posts by Timmy, Voodoo's first post, Regs and Ricold were made by me, the post by Calarion was made by Voodoo (Voodoo'd reply was made by him). Apologies to any of that list that are currently active and discovered posts that they didn't think they'd made. I think every other reply was made by it's account holder, I'm not actually sure.

My time zone changes on a somewhat regular basis, and as I knew I'd be away for a few days we decided to start for the Aussies and Kiwis, and see what would happen. We have a global community, and it's very hard to find a point to start that's on April 1st for everyone.

My time zone changes on a somewhat regular basis, and as I knew I'd be away for a few days we decided to start for the Aussies and Kiwis, and see what would happen. We have a global community, and it's very hard to find a point to start that's on April 1st for everyone.
