Unpleasant problem when writing posts/replies

#1 Post by Marinero »

Greetings,

After the site upgrade I am experiencing a very unpleasant problem when posting messages/replies. After the text becomes bigger than the standard window in the web browsers and scrolling is required, the browser keeps throwing me back up. This gets very irritating with longer posts that are 20+ lines, as after each letter I type the text window moves up to the original frame. It is a similar problem that I have experienced at asrai.org.

Any ideas what may be the cause for this and how could I fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Marinero

hmm, interesting.

No idea at all I'm afraid.

My suggestion would be to try a different browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE) to see if the problem still occurs.

The problem is that I am using IE, and MS products tend to somehow not 'like' alternative, resulting in strange behavior of my computer..

If you're worried about running Firefox in XP or something to that effect, don't be.

Actually I am using Vista, and it has proved to be quite caprisious unfortunately. I will try Firefox though.

Thanks for the answers, I appreciate it.

Firefox works excellent in Vista. Never, ever use IE (unless you absolutely have to).
