I just had my first game of age of fantasy a couple of days ago. Its a really fun game system

You learn to smells when something is too good be true. And the speedpaint ad-campaigns stink

I can warmly recommend using Hail Caesar as rules.
Its an improved version of warmaster and really works well on large armies.

Cow elves... theyve lost me

The big problem for me are heads, they are so hard to find, and im not good at molding heads. Your models look great.

The new eles are looking tight.
That cavalry will definetly find a home in my army.

And the spearmen... i already have plans of blocks pikemen

Yeah White dwarf became just bunch of pictures of minis... It is supposedly better nowadays, but noone around here reads them. Tournaments sort of killed the hobby. If it's not a tournament gaming then its crap so all everything became very formualic and noone cared for cool conversions and scenario...

For which factions?

They are not the same.
But yes they have no points, but that can be easily remidied.

I'm too old to play tournament style games, i want narrative games with alot of soul.
And I want to play in the old world.

Yeah the lack of the models is the sad part. But I have alot, and the chariots feel like the only thing i dont want to buy second hand.

I'm looking forward to legends, and i'll start playing that as soon as it is released.

Yes this makes me extremely sad, had to buy 4 chariots even though i shouldnt buy any minis at the moment.

On the bright side, this means that the high elves Legends book will be out soon.

GW was about to release all the old factions from earlier editions as their own pdf compendiums, but they only released dark elves, and a compendium of heroes. Then they stopped... Now I hear faint rumors that GW are planning to release full armybooks for playing the old world armies with Age of sig...

Stop using end game storytelling.

When one war ends new factions creep up to shake things up.

Im having trouble with heads for my archers.
Right now im pondering taking spears and heads from seaguard, to put on dreadspears, then taking the dreadspear heads and putting on archers XD
I want a simpler solution.
As in just getting heads from somewhere.
