Are you priming your models? The last guy doesn't look like it.
If not that may be part of the problem,you must ALWAYS prime your models..flat plastic has no tooth.i.e. it doesn't hold the paint well.

It's better on him than many- ASF,re-rollable flaming,no AS attacks are even better when boosted.
