I still love the datafile but it is kind of annoying to have my perfectly fine lists red-flagged all the time.

I am getting an error that says I can't take more than one 50 point banner. Is this based on an actual rule in the book? I check the BRB, AB and errata and couldn't find anything. Am I going crazy or is this some kind of glitch?

They shot the hell out of my brother's Terrorgheist and Zombie Dragon about a month ago. I have always liked them, I don't think they're going to find their way in quite as much now that Reavers and Silver Helms are core also, time will tell I suppose.

If only Razor Standard affected shooting.

The sw are nice and fluffy but the third unit seems like pushing it a little maybe.

Gem of sunfire with sisters, dragonmage, spearelves with flame banner, any elite unit with flame banner, Caradryan, Tyrion or a loremaster (3 of his damage spells count as flaming IIRC).

If the points are high enough you can get a cav prince, loremaster and a lvl2 beast mage. Guaranteed 2 Wyssan's casters then with the nice flexibility the loremaster brings.

Seems to be a consensus that Merwyrm shield won't help a mounted character since they can't enjoy parry saves. Other than that I don't have much to offer, still haven't played any games with the new book myself.

The new Gem of Sunfire deserves its own thread IMO. The potential to combine it with other things like the flame banner for a huge step up in killing power for a turn should not be overlooked.

3 wide cav is always fighting at least 5 infantry as soon as you maximize contact with corner to corner. The only thing that appeals to me about it is if you are character hunting you can potentially have more of your unit pile attacks on that character with martial prowess.
