Read that wrong the first time so I'll try again. Army book trumps rule book so if you fail the rampage test you do then move as per the army book.

The WOC FAQ says that a deamon prince is for the purposes of the spells but makes no mention of the hellcannon so I guess not.

Re: Fear / Terror Test
Just give your PGs the banner of discipline and your BSB becomes immune to psychologie. The only downside is that this is probably the worst banner selection for any Phoenix guardian who is not standing in the middle of a dark elf army. Do you mean Standard of Balance as Standard of Discipline only...

While this would be nice I think you would have a hard time convincing most opponents that it is legitimate and not an attempt to abuse the rules.

Re: Rules: Are you kidding me?!
I play Tomb Kings. Apparently the Casket doesn't need line of sight, so it's perfectly legal to hide it behind a goddamn rock. Sure, okay. Just remember that you do need to be in the front arc and he can't use the spell after moving. And pivoting counts as moving. The Tomb King FAQ states that the ...

Re: Excel Army Calculator
I have made one for my both my High Elves and my Lizards. The only thing you have to do is once you enter your choices on the final army list page is to then link to the points on the other pages. It is fairly simple but it works for me and now i have the template it does not take long to change it ...

You are 40 points over on your specail allowance, maybe drop some of the command on the Lions/Swordmasters that way you can keep the list almost as it is.

I believe it says in the BRB that all minitures should be put on the base they come with so currently that means Eagles are on 50mm, at least the one I got last year was.

I'm High Elves and Lizardmen, the rest of my group is WOC, Empire, O&G, Vamps, Ogres, Dwarfs and Dark Elves. Thats a pretty even split not that we really look at our armies that way, it's more just a case of these were the ones we liked so collected them.

Re: Silly 2400 List! Could be great fun to use
You have to keep all the command models in the middle of the front rank (fairly sure anyway don't have my rule book with me) so you either have to deploy 10 wide (not very practical for cavalry) or only have the lord and one noble in the front rank. Other than that it does sound like it could be qui...

Re: New trend?
This is nothing new as both 4th and 5th edition had lots of common magic items and few race specific items. It made no difference to me then and I don't see it having an effect now. As many people have already posted having lots of items does not mean they will all get used on a regular basis.
