And, what about a BSB riding a Great Eagle? Crazy, i know, but just think about it. It is the fastest noble, and can always be where he is needed. Also can charge standard blocks of infantry if there is a champion or character that yo can kill on the charge. You just challenge, kill the champion or ...

Thank you guys for all your replies. So, step by step. @TragSifarin: About the Gem o Hoeth. Well it is the way to have some magic support an at the same time having a character that still can do damage. Another mage could be worth it, but would be enfasing two much in just a fase. BTW, my plan is th...

Using GW miniatures is never a must but in official tourneis. So if you want to enter one you must use GW miniatures, but if you are not, then you can play with the miniatures you want or like. Whereas, it is very important that all the models are well represented some way. With my friends i usually...

1750 HE from a newbie (C&C are really wellcome)
Well, after reading all of you, i want to try a list with a hero riding an eagle. I'm a member of an asociation in wich we play a league with some uncommon restrictions, so i cannot be as flexible as i'd wish. The list is intended to be an all corners one, in order to be prepared for a tourney. Let ...

What do you guys think is best, 1 archmage or 2 lvl 2's Depends on the way you want to play. If you wand really hard magic, then take and archimage plus a level 2 mage. The best of the archimage are the cheesi combos and the chance for rolling more dices in order to launch the most powerfull spells...

Not too sure about White Lions, they seem a little lackluster - 6x6str attacks doesnt seem better than 11xstr5 attacks i could get from an equal 5man front of Swordmasters+champion. The main thing about WL is not only the amount and strenth of thir attacks, but their special rules. They are stutbor...

Some of my mates have also had the same problem with Army Painter spray primers. So that, the quality must be lower. In adition, the temperature does influence the result of a spray primer, but what is really important is the humidity. This is, when raining, spray priming is not a good idea. It is a...

Congratulations PapaElf. I have been reading all your articles (even before you uploaded them into the Library o Hoeth), and all i can say is i do not have the words to express myself. I found all of them really useful, and although i have played for years i never realized about a lot of things you ...
