Why would you want to bunker a lv 1 or lv 2. Caddies should be hidden in terrain or in archer units. No way should you adapt your list to bunker such a mage.

If you have an archmage then I would suggest the PG, champion (to take challenges, AoC seems to help), and banner of sorcery.
