Re: Hello
Holly molly Batman, some old timers found their way back into the ole homeland. Congrats to the both of you! Can't believe where time went by. Shoot, I recall being a shanty dreamer and aspiring writer. I traded it all to become a soulless lawyer. Sigh.

Henryk Sienkiewicz's The Deluge ("Potop")
So, after years of searching and patiently waiting, I was finally able to find a brand new copy of W.S. Kuniczak's masterful English translation of Poland's greatest modern historical epic writer. For those of you unfamiliar with these writer, he won the Nobel Prize for his epic Trilogy. Just very h...

It is nice to see old timers back. I browsed through several threads in different forums, and the staggering amount of users I am not acclimated me was quite honestly intimating.Luna Guardian wrote:Welcome back. The exact same thing happened to me just a few days ago BTW

Dear Horatio, how delightful I was when I received your letter. It has been months since I have felt the reassuring words from a loving voice. Now, more than ever, am I pleased to have the strength of your friendship abreast. I have fallen ill with love. Yes, the same friend who has always mocked th...

Re: Scottish Independence... maybe
Slightly off-topic, but pertinent to the discussion of secession, Teledor what do you think of the idea of splitting California up into six distinct states (or the more older idea of breaking it up into two). I see the merits of the argument and the proposed state of Jefferson would likely seek to r...

Re: Scottish Independence... maybe
In retrospect, I am honestly believing now that the proponents of the Yes vote were genuinely anticipating these reactions. It was clear to me from the beginning that currently the No vote would remain the stronger bet as too many affluent people were not going to gamble on their lot. And this is al...

Two of the local independent retailers will be getting them in. I wonder if I should grab one while I can. I am just not sure how much fun it will. I feel as if the board game environment will be limiting and become boring after a while.

Re: Scottish Independance... maybe
I find it highly comical that countries such as Spain and France, are insinuating against Scottish independence in order to prevent any possible adaption of secessionist movements in their own countries. And yet, these same European countries want nothing more but the progress of democratic and self...

I guess we are more concerned with the departure of Ms Joan Rivers (though I really admire ...

Other than that it has been speculated that a new starter set will be eventually released that will include Blood Angels and Orks. While the changes may seem small, I feel...

I played Oblivion and by far one of my favorite games. I acquired it first on the Xbox 360. After having put in around 100 years, I got the PS3 Version (Gold edition), whereupon I spent around another 110 hours on it. Cannot go wrong with it!

Re: 40k Dark Vengeance Boxed Set a Good Start for Marines?
There is going to be, for all intense and purposes, a new starter set coming out soon. From what appears to be so far to be more than just rumors and all but officially confirmed, 40k is getting an updated ruleset which is called 7th edition. Release date is on the 24th of May. The new starter set i...

An old man while walking his dog along a idyllic pathway that paralleled a seashore that stretched as far as the eyes could behold came across a young genteel looking young man. Re: How much better is the new Wood Elf book than the last one?
Ok great guys thanks for the replies. So from what I gather it appears I should need to acquire 3-4 more boxes of GG and at least 2 wild riders. Are EG units still necessary or could I do without them? Does the new book discourage CC at all and therefore, should I rely on making any potential WE sho...

Hey guys I had a quick question for those with the new book. So back in 2005 when the last WE army book was released I acquired the then WE army box that came along with the army book. I have a picture attached. http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n277/Facade19/WoodElfArmyBox-1_zpsb9c454ef.jpg I actu...

In my opinion it all depends when Turkey will undertake its incursion into Syria before the Black Sea fleet (and Russia) will be neutralized in the Ukraine. But that is just my opinion.

Re: Where the heck is everybody?
All of this yet another failed attempt by philosophers to intervene to curb the last man. I am sorry to sound so vague, but what did we all expect would transpire? Even if there will not be a physical conflict in the degree we are all weary off, we all are deep down aware that something is just not ...
