When facing my buddies dwarfs- who usually runs 2 of these (3 in bigger games)- I did, and still would, take Eagles. I love Reavers but if I know I am going to face an organ gun, I take an Eagle to counter.

I like Shadow here too, hopefully to Pit them or even Pendulum.

Good report. The only thing I would mention is the colors used in Battle Chronicler. They don't stand out to well, makes it a bit hard to make things out.

Agreed, Hortennse, but I would be much more comfortable using High with him for the extra touch of defense.

Question if you use him as High Loremaster- how many dice do you throw at Fiery Convocation? Say first turn and average power dice pool. Four? Five?

So the armybook says Chayal and Korhil's hand weapon are Paired Weapons.

Paired Weapons give the Extra Attack special rule.

Extra Attack gives one more attack on the model's profile.

Do I roll 4 dice for Korhil? And how many correspond to Chayal? Apologies for my densitude...

My main opponent are my buddy's dwarfs and I can tell you what has helped in my experience. I rarely use magic against him anymore and try to out-manuever him on field. Naturally, its IMHO and YMMV.
